What She Knew

What She Knew by Gilly Macmillan

This is one of the BEST NOVELS I have read. I got so into this book, right from the start. Macmillan's writing is stunning and vividly relatable. Rachel's son has been abducted and her emotions are tangible and poignant. You yearn to find her son just as she does. You experience all the turmoil she undergoes, the intensity of the situation, and the painful ignorance of not knowing who's behind the abduction. Macmillan writes in these incredible complicated characters: Rachel's sister, best friend, ex-husband and his wife, the detectives, the teachers. . .and all of them are so intertwined in this new complex situation that is so agonizing and real that I had to keep reading because I just

couldn't leave Rachel's side.
