Life is But a Dream

Lee Strauss's second book of the Nursery Rhyme Series beautifully bridges the complications of existing in different worlds. Her two main characters--a fantastic duo--Marlow and Sage continue to work together to solve a new strange occurrence: students jumping to their deaths. What's incredible about this series is that despite the darkness of the crime, Strauss creates a story line brimming with lightheartedness, humor, and hope. The unique cast of characters (differing student viewpoints) nicely add to this appeal and the underlying suspense. I was so consumed by the plot that I was startled to find myself suddenly at the last page, inside of a captivating brain-stopper. Strauss's writing, once again, proves itself as fun, fascinating, and mysterious~
