When you read Lysa's TerKeurst's book Uninvited you will feel very much invited into a place of love and acceptance. I raved about this book with every page I turned. Each word touched me with immense compassion and empathy. TerKeurst speaks to you on a personal level and the entire time I felt safe and comforted as though we were dear friends. With candid honesty and a nice dose of humor about her own struggles to be free of the hurt from past rejections, she lovingly visits the very heart of our shared insecurities, reaching to scripture to bring healing to the agony that comes with being rejected, then taking our hand and pressing it into God's.
