Everything Everything is everything you could want in a good book. Nicola Yoon's writing beautifully exposes the heart. I was empathetic toward Maddy, her situation of literally being allergic to the outside world and having to spend seventeen years in her home with just her mother and Carla, the nurse. Of course, I have never experienced this, but Yoon has you feel every emotion that Maddy does. You care so deeply for her and what happens to her, good and bad, that you won't want to stop reading. The chapters include unique artistry as well, from Maddy's health charts to her emails with Olly and numerous other exciting events that add charm and depth to the story line. Maddy's voice is so intimate and relatable. You can't help but love Olly, Maddy's mom, and Carla as much as Maddy does. The story is probably the most immersive stories I have ever read. You will be surprised by what happens and more than pleased with the way everything unfolds.
