Before I Fall

Time. We all think we have so much time, but we never know when the end of our lives will come. Teens think everything is about them and Sam, the main character, and her friends are certainly no exception as the popular high school clique. Important life lessons direct Sam's journey once she dies in the beginning. Over a seven-day period, she must relive this final day of her life and attempt to uncover how she could have been a better person or made the world a better place. Lauren Oliver shows us the fault in ourselves, how precious each moment is and how important it is that we treat others well, put others first, and find meaning and purpose in all that we do.
