They All Fall Down

This is a unique read with an interesting premise. St. Claire executes the plot with credibility and intrigue. Kenzie, the MC, is a likeable character so the reader finds it easy to follow her along on this shaky road that being on the Hot List brings.

The other girls on the list feel too much alike, so there's nothing too special there and it's difficult to invest in them or feel for them when they start to die. But Kenzie's best friend, Molly, and her crush, Levi, stand out as their own people, which brings more life to the story.

I wasn't expecting the ending, the explanation to this 'curse' and I found it to be original. The ending leaves room for a sequel, though a possible second book seemed to be going not into a YA mystery thriller direction but more of an action-based detective premise. Overall, the writing was good and the pacing well-placed with a hero you route for, so give it a read.
