Heartfelt Cases: Book One

Julie Gilbert writes characters that are worthy to be read about. I only wish she would go a little deeper into their lives as there are character backgrounds that are shocking and interesting.

Gilbert's story hinges on a kidnapping case of a mother and her child. The mother is notably strong, a likeable trait. The Christian theme of endurance and faith is not preachy, but rendered in a beautifully emphatic way.
