Excellent Suspense

R.L. Stine is easily one of my favorite authors. I'm just disappointed that I didn't start reading him sooner. I have a lot of books to catch up on!

This is definitely one of his stronger YA novels. The writing is tight, mature, and mysterious all the way through. The pool of suspects is wide. Stine pushes his reader into a frenzy of possibilities so that figuring out who the psycho is proves practically impossible.

Maybe you'll figure out who the culprit is. I sure didn't. I was pleasantly surprised.

The one issue I had was the way one of the characters knew Selena (the MC) so well, too well; I felt like that needed more explaining.

The dangerous sitatuions are lively and engaging, so shocking, in fact, that you'll never look at a catwalk the same way again!
