Hollywood & Ivy

This was a nice second chance romance with believable plot points and two endearing main characters.
Each moment these two potential lovebirds are together creates tension and fun.
I didn't care for the secondary characters, Hazel and Emerson.
It would have been better to have Emerson, Ivy's best friend, in the story more, especially in a real life way rather than via video phone calls, since she helps Ivy through her feelings. And Hazel is too pushy and nosy, and I honestly didn't understand how she came to be in Ivy's life or why she should matter so much.
I also would have better grasped and appreciated Ivy's past with Justin had we seen a flashback. Same for the past with her mother, as this plays a significant part.
That said, the story is still entertaining and sweet and you root for both Ivy and Justin the whole time.
