She manages to provide an entertaining gripping suspense while dealing straightforward with the way drug abuse tears into the very heart of a family.After Barbara sends her drug-addicted daughter Emily across the country with a rehabilitation worker, she receives a shocking call from a detective. The rehab worker has been found dead in her car and Emily is shown fleeing the scene and wanted for murder.

Told through the mom Barbara's viewpoint, you will hang on to this ride and root for her to find her daughter, to uncover the truth of what has happened while battling the worst dark corners of a drug-addled world ruled by deception.
