A review of grammar (syntax) and consistency in mechanics (spelling, capitalization, punctuation)

Package #2: Line and Content Editing

I will read your manuscript as both a reader: sharing my reactions--when I laughed, cried, was surprised, confused, etc.--and as an editor: looking at effectiveness of style and flow of diction and dialogue, overuse of words/phrases as well as content consistency (time frames, plot, characterization, tone, pacing of narrative). You also get one round of follow-up questions about the manuscript.

Package #4: Proofreading

Proofreading is the final stage (finding errors that were missed during the editing stage). I will focus on surface errors such as misspellings, subject–verb agreement problems, incorrect word choices, and improper punctuation usage.
