Good driving suspense with a strong lead, Officer Christine, ( Fiona Gubelmann ). After a 911 call believed to be a hoax results in a child being murdered, Christine does everything she can to find the perpetrator and bring him to justice, even though the rest of the force and the media believe that the child's violent parents are to blame. Searching for the truth with a wounded leg from an on-duty injury, doing a solo investigation proves to be challenging. Thankfully, she enlists the help of Detective Tim, who helps her unravel the mystery.
Writing: Strong, tense, well-paced
Investment: As the audience, you find yourself intrigued by Gubelmann's performance. She is likeable, humble, and trustworthy, someone you root for all the way through.
Suspense: Like any good crime thriller, the risks increase with each literal step Christine makes, drawing us deeper into a well-told suspense.
