WRITING QUALITY: Sub par. Too many issues that never get resolved. For instance, the wife fails to show her family the pictures she discovers, which would have them in her corner sooner instead of defending psycho Sam. And there's a vague mention of Sam's mom ("You didn't know her; Sam's had a rough life"), but no explanation as to why. Or what happened to her mother exactly. Was it an accident? Or why we don't see Sam kill someone, just handling the body? Or the matter of Heather: we don't even learn what Sam did to her in the past.

SCARE FACTOR: When Sam suddenly swings an object. The scariest thing being, however, Sam's cold indifference. The ending is shocking and includes actions far more intense than anything Sam's done previously.

CONTENT (SEX, LANGUAGE, & VIOLENCE): A near rape takes place, but no nudity.

VALUES: Family bonds, shielding innocence, the fight for truth.

ACTING: Pretty good.

BONUSES: The husband and wife are awesome together, until he doubts her later. The family is a nice and well-balanced unit. Lots of positivity in the family and a happy ending.
