Writing Quality: An incredibly original script with more mystery than a typical horror film. Excellent twists and turns throughout with a very memorable and shocking ending.
Scare Factor: The attacks are expected, so not really jump scares but more focused on surprising the viewer with inventively staged situations.
Content (sex, language, & violence): Two attempted sex scenes, one with frontal nudity. The Shining-like moment (think bathroom scene) as well. Infrequent language, but a couple instances of the F bomb. Moderate violence, but nothing really graphic. Kills are off-screen and we see the aftermath, though nothing too gritty.
Acting: So-so. Jamie Lee Curtis and the train conductor are exceptional.
Values: Attempting to uncover the killer and protect the passengers
Bonus: David Copperfield! And the coke head douche from Die Hard!
