Writing Quality: The story is unique. It is also a supernatural thriller, not the usual Lifetime fanfare. The directing isn't all that great. It was also difficult to adjust to Shannon Elizabeth in a serious role, Overall, the acting and chemistry just isn't there for the entire cast, though, again, I think that might be mostly due to the director. Michael is the one exception.

Scare Factor: Michael's behavior is eerily off, and once you get to the second half of the story, the plot turns supernatural, revealing even more effective creepiness.

Content (sex, language, & violence): Two sex scenes, rather graphic. No language. Threatening violence, moving objects.

Acting: Chris, Alex's boyfriend, isn't all that great; his hair style feels like it belongs to another time, long ago. Christian Campbell's (Michael) performance is excellent--a very impressive villain.

Values: Protecting a child and a romantic relationship, seeking law enforcement protection and investigation into the truth.

Bonus: The babysitter is a nice side character.
